Synopsis
This amendment removes the requirement of twice yearly submissions to DSP of all firearms transactions and by so doing accomplishes each of the following: 1. Significantly reduces the administrative burden on the licensee (FFL) 2. Significantly reduces the administrative burden on DSP. 3. Protects the privacy of firearms owners and reduces the ability of the DSP to construct a registration system 4. Increases the trust in DSP by Delaware’s community of gun owners and protects the DSP from allegations of establishing or constructing a gun registration system.
