House Amendment No. 1 to House Bill No. 467 clarifies that a landlord may initiate coverage from a specific insurer or insurance provider designated or affiliated with the landlord if a tenant fails to initiate or maintain required renters insurance and only as long as the tenant fails to initiate or maintain the required insurance.
