Synopsis
This Amendment to House Bill No. 446 clarifies that the existing statutory authority for the Department of Agriculture to impose fines is limited to fines and civil penalties otherwise authorized under the Delaware Code relating to the protection of forest lands. This language is consistent with language elsewhere in Chapter 10 of Title 3 pertaining to the State Forestry Fund and the disposition of fines.
