Synopsis
This amendment makes technical corrections and clarifies that the financial literacy course credits are to be applied towards math, social studies, or career pathways credits, but are not required for graduation. Also, this course will begin for students entering grade 9 in the 2026-2027 school year. Additionally, a 1-semester waiver to delay implementation may be granted by the Department of Education.
