Synopsis
This Act represents a significant change to the status quo regarding the oversight of Delaware’s fire service. To ensure that key stakeholders have a seat at the table as these changes are implemented, this amendment requires the Delaware State Fire Prevention Commission to confer with the Delaware Volunteer Firefighter’s Association and the Delaware State Fire Chief’s Association in the development of new regulations that are prepared pursuant to this Act.
