Synopsis
This amendment makes several changes to Senate Bill No. 250. First, it makes a technical correction on line 64 to correct a proofreading error. Second, it makes changes to lines 159 to 161, 396, and 403 to give municipal electric companies greater leeway to develop and implement renewable energy portfolio standards programs, and to limit the formation of community sustainable energy authorities in certain circumstances. Third, it amends the Synopsis to further clarify the intent of Senate Bill No. 250, expressed at lines 295 to 301, that municipalities retain full control over the decision to create Community Sustainable Energy Authorities.
