Synopsis
This amendment: (1) adds the 2/3rds vote requirement; (2) states that the exception for rental of real estate for property owners or tenants does not apply to cities with a population over 50,000; (3) adds a section stating that the bill doesn’t prohibit a jurisdiction from charging a wage tax under that jurisdictions’ ordinances on the same basis as other wages earned in that jurisdiction; and (4) changes the enactment date from January 1, 2020 to July 1, 2020.
