Synopsis
This Amendment removes the ability of the Attorney General to appoint a Deputy Attorney General to act as the administrative hearing officer to adjudicate charges brought by the Director of Consumer Protection and instead requires the Attorney General to appoint a third party hearing officer to act as the administrative hearing officer to avoid conflicts of interest.
